Yesterday somebody posted on our local FB group that he had lost a dinghy and as I noticed a strange dinghy at the back of my mates boat I went to check it out. Sure enough it matches the photo and description given. No way of securing the dinghy as it had no painter nor a cleat of any sort but as it was pinned by the wind and the boat I was confident it would stay put A quick post detailing it's location resulted in the response "oh I'll pick it up tomorrow" Today the wind had changed and my best guess is that it has been blown out of the marina into the river current and is now heading for Denver. All because he didn't make sure his dinghy was secure, not even a bit of bailer twine. Phil Just to add if was mine, I would have fetched it there and then

Why didn't u just grab it and see what u could get for it on Ebay?! Or take it to Plynlimon and ride the Severn in it just for fun?
