Yesterday over 130,000 paid and turned out at Wembley and Twickenham to watch two Aviva premiership games.
I realise that both games were in London, but never the less, that's quite a crowd for live rugby.
I have always been surprised that as tv channels lost the rights to soccer due to costs, that they didn't turn their attention to rugby union.
There definitely seems to be growth in attendances, and increased interest in the sport.
The rights are now in the hands of cable companies, so they've missed the boat, but I wonder why there was little interest.
