Should I buy a lottery ticket or have I used up all the luck coming my way for a while ? I've been at Tilbury docks today hoping to get a little pleasure trip down the river, The run was cancelled as the tow hadn't been prepared well enough. I had been taking some photos of the Tug and tow as I was walking back to the car and I put the camera on top of the car roof while I divested myself of all the paraphernalia you need nowadays (Lifejacket, Hi Vis, Hard hat, etc.) and stowed them on the back seat of the car, jumped in and shot off. 10 or 15 miles down the road bashing along at about 70, I was being irritated by a tapping noise coming from the side of the car. I glanced round to see my camera hanging against the rear passenger window and banging against it in the wind. As soon as I could I stopped and got out and found that the thin wrist strap of the camera had been shut in the rear door and was just being held there by the pressure of the rubber seal against the cord. I didn't have to open the door to remove it, I just pulled it quite gently and it slid free ................... Phew ! Attachments:

Very lucky John, Years ago in Norway I decamed my Land rover and moved off about 3 hours later I realised that my Machine gun wasnt with me!!!! I pulled over searched everywhere nothing found panic wasnt the word I would describe how I was feeling. Anyway I thought back to my last actions and remembered putting the gun down on the roof and sure enough after climbing up there it was tangled in the camouflage net what luck. Plenty of others havent been as lucky as me
