There's been plenty of info, Foxy. Haven't you signed up for CRT's stoppage e-mails? Looks like you (and I) are stuck in the twelve or so mile stretch until at least the end of June. Don't think the Rochdale will be open right through until at least late summer, but late June has been mentioned for the C&H.

Yes, it's the Elland and Crowther bridges which are holding up the C&H opening - apparently they've given up the idea of a short 'window' for us to escape and are keeping it shut until the bridges are demolished and the new piers are in place. Elland Lock is also closed but when I was down there it didn't seem much. No timescale for the Rochdale landslip at Bridge 15(?) and the breach further up. You can get as far as Stubbing Wharf where you were during the floods.

Do they have to move around in that 12 mile stretch, or can they just moor up in one place and stay there for the duration?
