NO IT BLOODY DIDN'T I'm getting thoroughly sick and tired of the media lumping us all together as a bunch of wailing sobbing quivering wrecks of humanity who are given to showing extreme grief for someone they don't know, have never met nor were ever likely to and in the unlikely event that their path did cross with Diana they can be certain that her PP personnel would have made sure they never get within a country mile of her Phil

It was the worst case of mass hysteria in history.
And now it permiates throughout social media. Eg A little known boy from Hartelepool with cancer who has since died but had a huge following on Facebook. When he died people in our village which is the best part of 50 miles away released balloons, none ever claimed to have met him or known him but they were 'For Bradley'
As sad as the death of a child is, just what is that about?

I remember getting into an argument with someone on CWDF about the Shoreham air crash.
He argued a whole community was 'in mourning'
Really, a 'WHOLE' community, what about those not directly affected then, are they in mourning too?

John us right, and yes this is my second rant on the subject and in my mind quite warranted. Her death was very sad but so were the deaths of all the others that passed on the same day, her life and value as a human being was no greater than anybody else. Phil

I didn't know Niamh, while she was alive Northampton Saints took on her cause and raised a fair bit of cash for her. Several player's still nominate the charity during their testimonials. www.niamhsnextstep.com/news--eventsYou asked what's the point of all the public greif and I gave you an example of a positive result that comes from that awareness. I should think little Bradley will have had a similar effect.

As previously mentioned, we should be given another bank holiday to remember the country's grief...Diana's dead day! π Β What was the last thing that went through Diana's mind ? Β The windscreen ! I thought she was in the back? Mercedes S280. Nice enough car but I would expect a royal to be looked after better than that or was it a set up or something.
