[Rant on]
Just having my tea before I go to Work and happened to stumble on some C5 ' lazy benefits scroungers struggling' type program.
One lazy fat smoking 35 y/o fucker allegedly suffering anxiety so couldn't work, gets £550 pm plus £650 PM housing benefits, no council tax etc. He regularly dresses up as a drag act performing in local pubs &clubs..no doubt for cash, where he's shown prancing round supping ale and the like...Get a fuckin job!! This lazy fat cunt has more free cash per month than my daughter earns whilst doing her apprenticeship and has to cope with all her housing / transport / living costs associated with having a job.
Another 'granny' complete dragging her benefit stick for the camera ( despite walking easier and better than me!!) plus chain smoking Benson &a Hedges and watching her 50' sky TV complaining about not having enough money to heat her flat ( although the heat off her continuous stream of ciggies probably keeps her warmer than any CH system.
When are they going to sort these sort of scrounging scum out and reintroduce work houses / community service type work?
Lazy scrounging scummy feckers Feck off I say!
Brazil have the right idea with their death squads going round at night picking these sort of drain on society off!👍
Agree or not?
[/Rant off]

Are you feeling better now. Definately... I take solice in the fact these lazy cunts will die an awful cigarette induced cancerous death or even a fatal crushing injury when their 50' flatscreen falls off the wall onto them!

I feel all fresh and raring to go tonight now knowing I've offloaded my concerns and stresses to people who care! 👍

A couple of points.
Firstly, in many parts of Britain in the post-industrial age, there simply isn't any work to be had. I regularly drive around Birmingham and it's environs, and I constantly say to myself "Ooh, that used to be a tyre factory, that used to be an engineering works, that place used to make radios, that used to be a chocolate factory" etc etc etc. All closed now, and you can't really expect 5,000 people who used to work in a factory to all become estate agents or somesuch.
Secondly, although smoking is expensive, it wouldn't be if the Government didn't tax it so heavily but they do this because it is a working class activity. If they taxed Sunseeker yachts to the same degree (i.e. the tax being 5-6 times the base price) then there would be media outrage.
A George Orwell quote ( from "Down and out in Paris and London").
"Sometimes we had more bread in the evening, sometimes not. Our linen was getting filthy, and it was three weeks since I had had a bath; Boris, so he said, had not had a bath for months. It was tobacco that made everything tolerable".

I would also add that it's just about bloody impossible to buy a working TV that isn't flat screen these days.
Yes they were once the provence of the wealthy, however this is no longer the case, they are all made that way.

Having worked for myself I legally paid virtually F'all tax, but as Stabby says, some fecker has to be on benefits and as I would say- better some no hoper who cba anyway than someone who wants to work. It's a sort of job if you look at it that way.

Having worked for myself I legally paid virtually F'all tax I'm an employee on PAYE and I don't mind working, but I draw the line at paying income tax. My tax code is 1150 so as soon as I have earned £11,500 in any tax year then I bugger off on the boat and I don't go back to work until after the next April 5th, whereupon I get all the tax back.

Excellent rant.
I too bemoan the lack of work ethic prevalent.
Though eminently qualified and experienced in my field since moving oop norf I have taken all manner of temporary employment, more to provide structure to my day than for essential day to day income which I realise is a luxury.
Work is out there for anyone who looks for it.

The welfare state is a system devised by wealthy influencial people to protect themselves against the poor people (who they fear could destroy them if given a motive) by taking money from the pockets of the people in between ("the working man") and give it to the poor so they can remain poor but comfortable in a modern consumerist based society and not be motivated to go and take the possessions of the wealthy from them.
Just a silly symptom of capitalism. Dressed up as altruism and caring for those who can not care for themselves. Giggle.
