As title. I'm looking for the following :- 6 x BA15D 15w equivalent. They are for 5" dome cabin lights. I've got converters and G4 LEDS but they are a bit long for the fitting and cast an offset light. Obviously they don't need to be arc light bright but equally not like a glowworm in a jam jar 2 x BA15S (old short side light type size) for an all round white navigation lamp. Guess this needs to be as many LEDS as possible to ensure it can be seen from a couple of miles in clear weather. There's such a bewildering selection on eBay and Amazon that I don't know which is shit and which is good. Price is not the ultimate driver, quality and longevity being more important. Thank you please 👍🚢🍻😀

Cheap is not the overriding factor Thanks for the eBay link, I'll look at them when I get in WIFI range 👍🍻

Check out Bedazzled Lighting on the interweb, I'm sure they'll have what you need. I've had most of my l.e.d bulbs from them, and whilst I've found cheaper on fleabay, they are a bit hit and miss, but no issues with the Badazzled ones.

Maybe a trawl of ybw.com forum and the usual marine suppliers will turn up something? LED bulbs that take a wide voltage range should be more reliable as they have a built in converter, the simple ones with resistors to regulate the LED current might well be a bit hit and miss.

Looks like I will be going to bedazzled on Larkboy and your advice. Their LED lamps are protected voltage wise and individually fused. One thing I hadn't considered was how the lamp type affected the light output of the fitting. Turns out a tower lamp won't be the answer. They were ok in the larger glass jelly moulds the 5" dome lamps are replacing but unlikely to be to my satisfaction judging by this. bedazzledledlighting.co.uk/bedazzled-blog/I can't see any disc type LEDS with flying leads and a BA15D base on eBay or Amazon - so it looks like Larkboy's recommendation is the way to go 👍🚢⚓🍻😀

Got all ours from Bedazzled, having first wasted money buying off ebay only to find the LEDs died over one or two weeks.
Bedazzled were very helpful, and we've experienced no problems since I fitted them a couple of years ago.
In fairness my mate is still (mostly) using the 99p cheapo LEDs without any problem, but they really didn't like my boat.
No idea why.
