I won money on Trump winning the election, I understand why the it happened, and if I had lived in one of the areas that is so rundown with no hope of ever having a job I would have voted for the person that gave me hope! As for the Germans, they need to pay up to NATO, as they and the rest of Europe are behind on payments for the only thing that has stopped another war.

I reckon if Trump was really bad news he would get sent to the farm.
I also wonder if at some point in the next few decades* we might have a UK prime minister with the motto "make Britain great again".
*something like 36 years.

The sub headline at the top of the article "Nearly one in five Germans see relations with US President as a major challenge". Presumably 4 in 5 don't then. Strange then to say "Germans" this and that based on that split. It be more honest to start the sentences with "a minority of Germans..." So I didn't.bother reading much more.

It's a bit weird, the USA is actually full of intelligent, capable folk, yet they have a Pres that looks like he has Down's Syndrome. Mong The next President of the USA? Actually they might do better with someone who has Down Syndrome. They are often very caring, happy, friendly people.
