Once upon a time I used to have walls inside my boat. Then I discovered severe dampness and had to take them down and replace floors. Unfortunately dampness was in the walls too so I got some more plywood to replace them as well. Sadly it seems like marine plywood only comes in 1220x2440mm sheets, but the original wall was ~1300mm wide.
I can't make the walls narrower, because bed is 1300mm and I don't want to rebuild it. I could cut the wall it so that it fits the space, but I'm going to miss the 80mm under gunnels and I'm not really interested seeing into bathroom from my bed.
Any suggestions what would be the best way to join two pieces of plywood?
Thanks!

Are we talking bulkheads.
Just install 2 times 650 wide boards witg a join in the middle join them across some studding.
Or just infil the bit in the gunnels after.
I presume its a timber frame wall with ply on top.
Im sure a real expert will be here soon.

use one of these - I've got the same one ... it cost buttons and works very well.

it's really good - in fact, the just about everything in "Ellis" has been held together using it... I've not bothered "plugging" the holes, just ironed fake ash over bits here and there, then sanded down quite successfully.
Only downside is, I lost the allen key that came with it, which means a ferret in my tool box when I need to alter the depth.

You don’t want a ferret in your toolbox.

Walls have ears. I know, I found one in my ice-cream. You been learning from the master? Funny, and concise!

Thanks guys, I'll go with the wolfcraft jig, it's the best solution as I'll be joining just the 8cm stripe under gunnels.

You will stick around and post more.
There's definitely help here if you need it.
