If not, why vote to stay in?

We're currently being ruled by people we can't vote out.

We're currently being ruled by people we can't vote out. Exactly. That's why I say this is probably the last chance we have got to return some power to us.

Do you trust any politicians? Some, but they usually get sucked into the machine at the local council stage. The trouble is that nice shy people won't do the job, but arrogant egoists will. It's a bit like why some musicians become lead guitarists and others play bass really.... I never did manage to pull the birds!

Do you trust any politicians? No, so the fewer we have of them, the better. Especially ones we didn't vote in and can't vote out.

What we really need, is "a better Europe". Hopefully, a brexit would trigger discontent that would see Europe realise its present format is crap, and needs serious change.

It just seems to create megalomania and control-freakery among anyone who comes close to it. Here's Jeremy Corbyn- "The EU takes away from national parliaments the power to set economic policy and hands it over to an unelected set of bankers who will impose the economic policies of price stability, deflation and high unemployment throughout the European Community.”
And yet, rather curiously, he now seems to be in favour of that.

Yes, it appears Corbin has been well and truly sucked in now. We all know the most weathly run the world anyway. I see the stock market is falling just in time to persuade investors to vote to stay in. After all most of us will repond to the threat of losing money!

Well a government may have an economic policy which it tells to the voters, but do you really think that any non-communist government has much power over its economy? It is dictated by much more powerful forces than a mere government.
I voted 'no' in the poll, BTW, which you may find surprising. But they sure aren't going to get any better without us, and our present government sure aren't any better.
