Bumped into Jules Fuels earlier, Β£100 lighter but a happy man. This boating lark is expensive! I think they are the ones that now have Bletchley. Telemachus had a tank full from my mate Alan when he was running Bletchley on the Nene.

All the fuel boat operators are gems with one notable exception. Stuart, who spends 2 weeks at Whaley Bridge and then 2 weeks at Poynton sells maybe 20 bags of coal a week. The reason why he sells so little? he's a cunt of the highest order.

Reasonably easy day, now at the Globe (well near it), Full tank of water, diesel and gas, empty tanks of rubbish and shite. Heading on tomorrow so give me a wave if I'm likely to be passing.

With a new-to-you used boat, the first year is always going to be expensive. Usually, the previous owner has been planning to sell the boat for a while and has therefore minimised his expenditure on routine maintenance and you need to play catch-up with this before things settle down a bit. Of course, there will always be maintenance to carry out, but that's no different to living in a house.

Ok. I had that a few years back. She'll be fine after a week. Make sure she uses the drops. Amazing op.

I like the Globe but itβs had a few problems and changes of management in past years. Seems Ok now and they do a nice fried breakfast in the morning! Yes, Iβll probably see you. Iβm the idiot with the amateur radio aerial poking out just beneath the power lines!
