Not much change on the extension works at Maesbury end on the Montgomery, altho they do appear to have dug out another 50 yards or so upto the factory / solar farm..... No new rewatered sections as yet! π Not done the full walk yet to see of any progress at the other end! Trip to Welshpool today see the distant end of the Montgomeryπ Commonly known as Welsh-pole for their immigrant residents.π Canals fully watered for quite a few miles, just no boats on itπ Hopefully I'll see & be able cruise down here before my times doneπ

I also will be pleased to travel by boat to there in 2024........if it happens.
But 'they said' the Huddersfield narrow was the impossible canal, and we travelled that in 2006.
