www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-44320638Must have been plenty of grub onboard. But he said Great Yarmouth port, which is owed unpaid dues, is "using legislation from the 19th Century" to demand three times the amount of rates. A spokesman for Peel Ports, which manages the port, said it was an "ongoing legal matter" and he was unable to comment.

It sound as if Peel Ports have got C&RT's Liverpool Piracy Team working as consultants on this. Perhaps some snivelling little arsewipe from Sharpness will turn up in the nick of time and 'save the ship' from it's impending fate.

there are quite a few companies in the maritime world that you need a long spoon to sup with ....... and do not shake hands !!! that way you avoid having to check the number of fingers you have afterwards

Can't understand why Captain Rastogi joined the ship in February 2017 when it had been in Great Yarmouth since June 2016 and crew had not been paid since October 2015 or why he gives a flying fuck that the ship will be seized if he leaves and goes home, I sure as shit wouldn't spend 15 months in a lay-by refusing to get out of an Eddie Stobart truck because a finance company wanted so snatch it back.
More to this story that is being reported.
