I've used a Honda 2 for years and never let it cool down before refuelling. To be fair it is the older type which has a water cooling circuit but this only actually cools the area around the exhaust and a tube to expel the exhaust out near the propeller. The engine itself is air cooled.
The newer ones are fully air cooled with several exhaust holes in the leg.
Sea otters are not really camping boats as they have a lot of luxuries on board. They are relatively small but well designed for comfort.

There are a couple of these Wilderness boats regulary cruising on the French canals, and when there's a canal celebration there are sometimes more than ten that come over from the UK, nicely decorated with loads of lights for the nightly parade, they do look like fun boats. www.wildernessboats.com/boats/default.htmlPeter.

Little known facts. I damaged the paintwork of a Wilderness boat on the Northampton arm and lost my favourite windlass at the same time. mouse, my sister and I prevented the same Wilderness boat from lifting the West Bridge challenge trophy at the 2011 IWA festival Beckett's park Northampton 5 years later I had cause to get stroppy with the crew of the same Wilderness boat at E L T O lock - the woman onboard was determined to make my ascent as difficult as possible - words were had. I haven't seen them on the last two years, must be short odds to meet them on the way home this summer

Little known facts. I damaged the paintwork of a Wilderness boat on the Northampton arm and lost my favourite windlass at the same time. mouse , my sister and I prevented the same Wilderness boat from lifting the West Bridge challenge trophy at the 2011 IWA festival Beckett's park Northampton 5 years later I had cause to get stroppy with the crew of the same Wilderness boat at E L T O lock - the woman onboard was determined to make my ascent as difficult as possible - words were had. I haven't seen them on the last two years, must be short odds to meet them on the way home this summer I hope you didn't lose your favorite windlass because it slipped out of your hand when you were going to hit that stupid, nasty Wilderness boat crew with it, it would already have been bad enough to lose your windlass, but to lose your favorite one is much worse .
I can clearly imagine that that left very bad memories, and I hope that this summer will be as happy as the previous two years, and that you don't see them and have them spoil your trip back home.
Happy cruising my friend.
Peter.
