Came by Stabby''s mooring (all looked in order) and then past Rose Narrow Boats yesterday afternoon. Jane suggested mooring at All Oaks Wood outside Brinklow, but I thought it would be good to find somewhere quiet and be alone. Moored opposite the farm at 4.30pm just before bridge 35, all alone in perfect peace. Bliss! Once settled, I jumped in the shower and Jane followed me in. By 5.15pm there were three boats behind us and three in front, virtually touching buttons front and rear! By 5.30pm yet another had arrived. Ah well. We had a walk later and enjoyed fantastic views of a hare in fields off Cathiron Lane to compensate. It'll be like a Le Mons start this morning Rog

That pull-in on Cathiron Lane is a good spot for a bit of dogging. Well, so I'm told, anyway.

I remember that area being very quiet in the late 90s but I think they have built at least one or maybe two more marinas since then in the area. Might even be more than that. I haven't been up there since the mid 00s so it might be almost unrecognisable.

That would have put them off mooring.

But as long as there's some kind of start, all is well.

That might attract the attention of the doggers. You really wouldn't want to find something unmentionable poking through your side-hatch

Once settled, I jumped in the shower and Jane followed me in. Rub-a-dub-dub, perverts in the tub! Less details, thank you. They are being ethically green and good, saving water. Honest! Have you turned into a prude now you are approaching gimmerhood?

In this heat, you can't leave early enough.

Rog put a space that shouldn't be there Lemon was what the rest of the racing fraternity called the first Ford GT to compete there.
Took a while and a good few million dollars but they got there in the end.

Anyway, we stopped and shopped at Brownsover, and moved out to be somewhere quieter at 3pm. Moored all alone just beyond Clifton towards the locks, and at 9.20pm we're still all alone Happy day. Rog
