I lit ours yesterday morning up near Skipton... by lunchtime, the sun had come out and we were sweltering. Foxy's hasn't let his go out yet though I gather ....

Cold! Cold! You soft southern jessies. 24 degrees in our boat at Braunston, with all windows, doors and side hatch open. You need more black pudding, pork pies and Hendersons Relish in your diet Actually it's been much fresher to day. Rather a pleasant change. Rog

I lit the fire last night when I got back from the pub at 2245 after bell ringing. Four lumps of coal too. Then I heard the neighbours a-coughing and thought I bet they come round knocking and a-moaning about the smoke. Walking back from Penkridge railway station I got this scene before the ducks moved to one side and started rummaging amongst their feathers for lice: Unusual ducks.

I wondered if they are the new CRT/Google sponsored roboducks which become invisible while gathering massive amounts of information about anyone in their vicinity with a view to increasing their profit margins.
