Never used a shewee but before I figured out how to lock the car without the dog setting off the alarm I used to pee in a plastic container and chuck in the hedge.... Nowadays I know how to lock a car without setting the alarm off..but I don't have a dog...funny ole world.. Patty, love this post, it is so random as to be priceless Phil Thank you....I like to solve problems in a logical..as I see it way..sometimes the solutions come a tad late to be of much use when circumstances change..but I then know for next time..

I meant peeing in the arctic!!!! A wee misunderstanding ?π We had a posh outdoor toilet cubicle which has a polystyrene seat for the simple reason that your bum would have frozen to ordinary plastic or wood seats..... ouch!!!!!! I also had to unwrap my six year old daughter so she could have a pee first and then re wrap her afterwards, one of the more challenging bits of motherhood. There again we have A Level results tomorrow.......

Ah yes..polystyrene seats.... Good luck with the A level results Thanks, fortunately she has an unconditional offer for Coventry Uni so that is settled, tomorrow is more about pride and achievement. Weβve taken the day off to celebrate with her either way. If confidence is any predictor of how one progresses in life she should be ok, she has that in spades. Unlike her wallflower of a mother!! π

Point of interested regarding toilet seats. One of the mad things I did in my life was to buy a milk round and luckily there were customers who would allow me to use their outside toilets. I can categorically state that at 2am or 3am on a sub zero winter night a black toilet seat is warm to the skin but any other colours were really bum chilling cold. Phil

The subject of this thread has reminded me of a conversation I had many years ago with a work colleague.
He had just come back from his annual holidays and was complaining bitterly about the hygiene standards at the seaside guest house where they stayed. Apparently, every time he went for a slash he found the kitchen sink still full of the dirty dishes left over from the last meal.

Phil polystyrene has my vote for the best loo seats for freezing cold conditions..
