I understand from a farcebook site I monitor that there is trouble with kids at Newark throwing rocks from the Castle side, reports say that a narrowboat reported having to move after trying three different moorings. Also museum barge had it's lines cast off .... oddly this all coinciding with a pikey invasion

I hope you are not suggesting that all caravan dwellers are thieving scumbags!

I hope you are not suggesting that all caravan dwellers are thieving scumbags! Absolutely not. MJG has a caravan and I have never heard of his integrity called into question, whereas Rog, as far as I know does not have one....

I hope you are not suggesting that all caravan dwellers are thieving scumbags! Whilst that may not be so, I have it on good authority that ALL caravan dwellers eat hedgehogs. So I guess if the cap fits you best wear it

(locals looked nasty and carried gun permits).

S'cuse me...I once had the misfortune to live in a caravan (minus running water, cassette or any other 'mod cons') and I never ate hedgehogs (no cooker either)... I'm not a thieving scumbag......
oh and forgot to say...I'll never live in one again..nor holiday..was one of those 'never to be repeated experiences'
hang on.....born of desperation..either 'live' in one or stay with the in laws during a time of homelessness...3 long months...me plus 3 kids...ex hubby went t sea, not for him..'delights' of caravan life..used bucket for toilet...kids thought it wonderful....

My all time favourite childhood read is Danny The Champion of The World - So far I've revisited it twice with the Dwarf 👍🍻

Amazing! Caravan living is questioned, and people jump to defend. My honesty is impugned and ... nothing! I DID NOT STEAL A BOAT although I may have (accidently) helped others (a little bit) to steal one (not on purpose) Rog

Chippy is open! For all you heavens out there, how many of you have a mobile chippy turn up on a wet Sunday afternoon to your mooring. Chicken can wait, tonight it's a fish and chip SUPPER!

I DID NOT STEAL A BOAT although I may have (accidently) helped others (a little bit) to steal one (not on purpose) Look, we're not interested in your sob story, you boat thief. Crapped myself in Banbury, I honestly did. I was just talking to some ordinary, decent boaters, and then I looked up and there they were. I slept with my biggest knife under the pillow and made sure the tips of my mooring pins stayed red-hot all night, just in case Rog and that accomplice of his came back.
