Congratulations! Bet you're chuffed (as I think they say on here).
See you soon?
Wishing you a good road ahead.

Small problem, need to clear funds first... otherwise it's mine - all hopefully sorted in a few days. Boat is in Northampton, and I'll be looking for volunteers (pressgangers!) to hold my hand when I move it the few miles onto the canal system (sometime over the next month). How come Northampton and Southampton are so far apart? Middlesex is full of trannies?

I think that's called "accurate reporting". Unfamiliar to Daily Fail readers.

You have a boat now? Fab! Where is it, I'll pop along and have a nose round tomorrow. Small problem, need to clear funds first... otherwise it's mine - all hopefully sorted in a few days. Boat is in Northampton, and I'll be looking for volunteers (pressgangers!) to hold my hand when I move it the few miles onto the canal system (sometime over the next month). let us know when and I should be able to sort something out.

I think that's called "accurate reporting". Unfamiliar to Daily Fail readers. I cant see the Guardian surviving much longer but the Daiyl Mail seems to be doing ok strange that isnt it?

"George Ward, 58, has been forced to sleep in a tent" - funny, I read that was his choice, to sleep in a tent rather than a neighbour's boat. “Once we have got the sides back, we can look at the two major leaks in the bottom of the boat but that could take a month or so.” - how long have these leaks been in existence? Doesn't sound like something new. "Police are now investigating the behaviour of a large group of drunk men who hired two narrowboats for a weekend trip from Hilperton Marina to Bath." - taking their time ain't they? This happened a couple of months ago. Sounds to me as if the whole boat is a totally rotten mess, is it worth pouring money into it? Neglected for how many years? Will David Beckham be donating anything?

"Since you're here… … we have a small favour to ask." GIVE US MONEY! No! I hope The Guardian goes down the pan. Goodbye!

that's the most accurate story I've seen so far. why is it in these cases that nothing was claimed through the hire boats Insurance?

8 grand? 90 year old wooden narrow boat? Hmm. Something tells me this story is going to repeat itself.
