I don't drink beer..so working class... Well, I'm working class, and proud of it. The difference between working class and middle class is that a working class person can operate a 44 tonne articulated lorry whereas a middle class person can operate a pen... and so naturally middle class people earn half as much as I do. Well that may be true..I had a go at moving a long wheel base van...didn't go quite to plan, in fact it probably would have gone better if I'd released handbrake....... Never mind.... i'll stick to being Middlish Class, vino lover whose best kept well away from any large vehicle...... I now knows whats not quite for me oh as to earning capabilities..not good at that one any more..still I get by.

Well I have now managed to adapt it to also be a mobile phone holder. I stuffed a length of minn kota electric outboard GRP shaft into the spare hole and clamped a generic phone holder to it. Works lovely.

Yet another phone with a cracked screen. Why do people keep them in their back pockets?

it had a crack when I bought it. Not a problem it was the charging socket breaking which stopped it being usable.

You could stick an umbrella in the little hole also, keep the beer/cider dry.

That's an idea. Maybe a dry martini would be the thing. I've not had martini since I was about 15. Might be worth a go. I can add a little umbrella as well as the phone holder. It would also keep the phone dry.
Ta for that.

Hard as nails. I am going to try it on the yot first where the umbrella will not be required as it will be sheltered. Next time I go under blackfriars bridges (should be in a couple of weeks time) if I see the Mr Stabby tug (it will have been an orange GPS Marine tug towing a large open barge alongside) I'll steer straight for them and they'll get out of the way from fear and respect. It helps that its a really hard looking and intimidating boat. This one Scary

I pushed a 60 ft nb with a Seagull 102, ran for hours on one little tank of petrol, chugged along at 1 mile an hour quite happily.
Leaving an impressive oil slick in its wake.

Off to the first stop this morning, view from Tokola bridge: River Lestijoki. 8km from Kannus, 16km to go on to Himanka.
