All politicians should remember that and have respect for those following the ‘orders’ of the government of the day. What 'orders' were not followed? That was meant to be my badly made point that some politicians seem to blame the military for the Iraq and other wars and lack respect for those that took part, whereas it was the responsibility for those in parliament that the war took place and our forces should be honoured. The forces don’t get to pick & choose which conflicts to fight in.
