E-baby is the way to go. When I bought mine I looked at Bimble but found cheaper new ones in eBay likewise controllers. Mind you prices have dropped dramatically since I bought my first lot,5 x 100w which I got a bulk order discount on, this was about 17 or 18 years ago. It still amazes me that people remain sceptical about solar panels which despite their shortcomings in the winter months have proved to me their worth. Still have people saying " ooh you have a 12v fridge AND a 12v freezer, how does that work", Phil

I paid £350 (each!!) for my 75w 12v panels (a BP and a Siemens) in the mid 90s.
Had considered the cheap as chips ones but they are a bit large. I quite like the efficient size of the 75s and they still work.

er thanks for that... another hour of my life looking around Bimble planning for the end of the world... and how to heat my swimming pool etc etc lol. I DO like self sufficiency stuff/survival stuff - When the Zombie Apocalypse comes (actually - I think Doncaster's already had theirs) I'll be ready! ;-)

Patty you have my profound sympathy. There are few things in life worse than having to read The Daily Maul 😉😉

I was at Braunston turn in the late 90s and nattering with another boater said I was going to the shop he said "can you get me the daily mail" being a nice enough bloke I said OK. I had to mention to the lady in the shop that it was not for me. As If she cared.

The best thing to do if you come across a copy of the Daily Mail is to sneakily snaffle it away then set a fire going with it - you really are doing a good deed for any fellow human beans that may come across it after you

The Sun hardly puports to be a newspaper ... for one thing 'newspaper' is too long a word for most of its readership.
The fact that the Mail and Express do, is what really annoys me.
