I think there will be a second referendum. I also think the result will be reversed. I guess we will have to wait and see. If democracy is reversed then who knows what will happen? I mean how would remainers feel if they had the 52% vote and that was reversed? But if we have a new referendum with a vote to stay in that would mean more people want to stay in!

Then it won't count and we will have to have a third go. Best out of three.

As I have said before, the democratic rights of the people in this country are more important than staying in or leaving the EU. Remoaners should think about the damage they have caused to democracy. Nearly everyone I have spoken to who voted to stay in, just accept it and want to move this country forward.

I suggest you're being a little novel with your thinking, and do not fully understand the importance of democracy. Perhaps not fully aware of, or possibly choose to ignore the implications of you're suggestions. You are choosing to ignore the majority, just like parliament. Don't be naive, or fool enough to believe that the majority are not going to lose it at some point, and retaliate.

I do not accept a no deal though. it's the incompetence of the politicians involved in the process that have got us to this point. They've had two years to sort it, cancel Christmas recess for them until they've sorted it.

You are so right I think it could get very messy, I think May realises this so is staying away from the subject, its good to see Corbyn has no guts when all the opposition leaders were asking him to go for a vote of no confidence he bottled out, total waste of space

It's up to elected politicians to now enact the will of the people, instead of weakling out of it. The eu are playing us and expecting a second referendum. Do you think the timing of the ecj announcements last week was coincidental?

It could be argued that anyone living in the U.K., Finland and Estonia aren’t foreigners anyway, as they are all part of the EU, which is like one big happy country apparently... Back in the 90’s I remember as a software engineer we had some huge pay rises due to the demand for us in a fast developing technical world. Within just a couple of years the government dealt with the ‘problem’ by hiring thousands of Indian software engineers. as a result the pay rises stopped. This will happen more and more as we move to a single global village (or New (single) World Order). The EU was one step towards this which is why I believe our best interests are served by leaving the EU. Leaving the EU probably doesn’t suit the richest people in the U.K. though as they want to use the cheapest worker ants available. To make matters worse, a large percentage of them aren’t even Brttish! Like you I am all for workers being paid a decent wage. What I can’t see is why you believe that being out of the EU will change anything for the better? I think leaving with a deal will limit the economic damage. Leaving with no deal will be a disaster for many. Anyone working for large manufacturing companies must be very worried! Lots of these companies will just move production abroad. This results in the loss of what are generally decent paid jobs, which will be replaced by yet more crappy jobs in warehousing etc. The Uk government will screw the poor as much as the Eu government does. Leaving will just make it worse. So why have wages risen? because their is a shortage of trained labour, brought about by Brexit, dont you think that a lot of people have clocked that already?

Well I’d be happy to be part of a common market (what we voted for in the 70s), but the European State bit crept up on us over the years with very little say from the British public. The answer is usually in the middle!

F.F.S. Tony Blair is supporting a second referendum, if that doesn't tell you what you need to know. Then there is no hope for you. Everuthing the man says is a self serving lie.

The eu think there's going to be a second referendum and the UK is going to come cap in hand back into the fold. Anyone who thinks they are going to let's us stay as it was, look at how they have treated May who has been acting as their lacky over this. I think there will be a second referendum. I also think the result will be reversed. This type of thinking is called "wishful thinking".
