I'm sure I'd love to watch it but an hour on YouTube would absolutely slaughter my monthly mobile data allowance.

I like your avatar by the way. That's Fat Freddy and his cat I believe. I used to have every single edition but sadly they got lost many years ago.

I'm sure I'd love to watch it but an hour on YouTube would absolutely slaughter my monthly mobile data allowance. I've been having this issue watching old Ronnie O'Sullivan snooker frames on my phone. Haven't watched snooker on TV for ten years as have no TV on any of the boats. So I started watching it on YouTube. Oh dear. I do like snooker though. And pro darts too.

Probably better than watching it on black and white TV. As Wispering Ted Lowe once said - ‘And for those of you who are watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green

I watched hours and hours of snooker on black and white telly for a few years when I first moved onto a boat in 1994. That was before the LCD tellies. The great thing with the little black and white tellies was they were so economical on power. About 12 watts so about an amp if I remember right whereas a 12v colour TV was closer to 50w. CRT type. Another nice thing with the old black and white telly was the picture got smaller and smaller if the battery was running down so it was a handy voltmeter. So much better than it just turning off !! My favourite was the lovely 9 inch Sony with the chrome effect screen surround. They are actually ideal for snooker because it makes you pay attention to the game. The balls all start in the same place at the beginning of a frame so if you know what you are watching the colours make no difference Happy days

Snooker; there was an old joke about the choice of easy pink or difficult brown. Can't remember the rest of it.

YouTube is addictive, so often click on a link here and end up clicking and clicking for hours. Mind you very useful to watch a vid of "How to do this or that" ie how to replace bulbs on various cars (take bumper off or wheels and wheel arch liner) Phil
