At least I go to the source for my info, rather than just quoting the daily mail. That’s why I think that when our great world leaders meet up, good things sometimes happen. They are only human like us after all....or are they? Off to Sainsbury's with you to buy another packet of lentils! You have no 'leaders' - they are all corrupt individuals who have entered Politics for some power and a lot of easy money, and free perks. Name one that hasn't for these reasons. Great Leader No 1 Great Leader No 2 Great Leader No 3

At least I go to the source for my info, rather than just quoting the daily mail. Another interesting fact is that Trump, Putin and May are not atheists. You can make what you like out of that. Thank you. If they believe in Gods, then I make them out to be seriously deranged and/or liars. No religious people should be running the lives of populations.

. What is it with some people? Does seem odd to travel so far to be surrounded by idiots when you could stay in the UK and sit on the boat in the sun drinking beer. OK its colder here but I can't believe you would find someone who thought Gordon Brown was in any way a positive influence on the country. The guy did say he was a lousy politician, zero charisma, he was right with those bits. Great ideas, what, tax credits, that are payable to all migrating Europeans, regardless of contribution, cost tax payers 30 billion a year, and keep wages artificially low? what a great idea!

plus the idiot handed over control of base rates to the bank. Like the bank give a shit about their voters. OK governments don't give a shit either but at least they have some sort of interest in peoples wellbeing unlike banks whose sole interest is profit even it it forces people to sleep under bridges.
Cunts the lot of 'em but Brown a bigger one than most.

'Here's a comment from someone living in Holland:
"Quote"
Earlier today I asked the question " Would you vote Remain or Leave now you know more about the EU?" and a friend of mine Eddy Lonergan posted this comment .... I've typed it out word for word as I believe that everybody, needs to know whats really happening in Europe by somebody who has lived in Holland for almost the past 4 decades, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS REGARDLESS OF WHAT SIDE OF THE BREXIT FENCE YOU FIND YOURSELF BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT EVERYBODY SHOULD KNOW WHATS NOT BEING GIVEN NEWS COVERAGE .....
Eddy Lonergan's own words ... not mine
"I wish the Brits would take the time to see whats going on here Roger. ... I'm a scouser living in Holland getting on 40 years now. .... It is just as bad, in some ways worse than in the UK. For example, Health Insurance is compulsory whether working or unemployed. My wife and I pay 250 euros per month and that is basic, no dentals, physios or extras. 2 major hospitals have shut down - there are no beds - the A&E is the same as the UK, families are asked to look after their parents because of shortages in Care.
The immigration problem is a laughing stock, food banks are noT coping, people in work are not making ends meet and are relying on food banks. .... Belgium, Germany and France have the same problems. Angela Merkel is stepping down as Prime Minister (Chancellor) but has forgot to tell everyone she has a secure high position in Brussels. .... Why would you want to be a member of a gang of pocket-filling thieves who do not care about their people? ... As for Junker ... don't get me started ....
The EU countries are crumbling and no f*cker gives a"dangle-doo-dandy", so GET OUT while you can and maybe others will follow suit". .... They are scaring and flexing their muscles and hoping that it will turn around, because the membership fee the UK puts in every year will have to be put up by the remaining countries. .... Holland will have to double their fee we've been told. ... What other countries can afford this?
Spain, Greece, Italy all bankrupt, so you see the EU does not want to lose the UK and will bully any way to try to win it over by threatening the Northern Ireland deal, the fishing deal, giving back Gibraltar and whatever else they can get their grubby hands on, so don't be fooled, it's not a bed of roses, things are bad here and like I said, in some matters its worse.
The riots in France are not just about fuel tax, its about living standards. .... Belgium and Holland have also taken up the baton with the Yellow Jacket Demonstrators because they're tired of it. .... Take the time to find out yourselves, then you will be glad of Brexit, and like I've said, with sense, holland will follow suit" ....'
End of quote.

I think a lot of this is down to interpretation. If you (or anyone else!) looks on NATO or the UN as having an army, then the proposal is for a EU army. It would be more accurate to call it "forces", though. One can refer to NATO (for example) forces, but it is incorrect to refer to a NATO army. Such an animal does not exist. British forces serving with NATO are still part of the British armed forces. Similarly, British soldiers who fought in Korea remained part of the British Army. They did not join, or get drafted to, a UN army. There is nothing in the Lisbon Treaty which creates or proposes an army (or forces) under direct control from Brussels. The proposal is for an alliance along the lines of NATO, not a European army.

I think this is open to interpretation: 1. Germany invades Paris and conquers France for its evil Nazi empire. 2. The nice Germans give the French free German language lessons.

As they seem to think they are going to form an eu army to rival NATO.

Its only because he is a remainer Gazza, the BBC are throwing everything but the kitchen sink into project fear, me its WTO and out if it saves us giving a load of dosh to the EU. A lot of EU countries are in serious financial difficulties at the moment and I wouldnt want us caught up in trying to save them, when in reality all they have to do is dump the Euro to save themselves
