Its only because he is a remainer Gazza, the BBC are throwing everything but the kitchen sink into project fear, me its WTO and out if it saves us giving a load of dosh to the EU. A lot of EU countries are in serious financial difficulties at the moment and I wouldnt want us caught up in trying to save them, when in reality all they have to do is dump the Euro to save themselves I didn't make an mention of the question to leave or remain. Cameron should be brought to task over this the slippery so and so.

Polish president pleads with UK to let it have its workers back... "Poland's prime minister says he wants to see more workers return from the UK to help its domestic economy grow. Mateusz Morawiecki told the BBC that "more and more are coming back and I'm pleased about that because there is a low level of unemployment... Give us our people back". www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-46978961And quite right too. Eastern European immigration has not only damaged the living standards of the UK working class, it has also robbed the host nations of their most productive workers. As I think I've posted before, before I moved onto the boat I knew a Romanian doctor who was picking apples in Kent, simply because she could earn more money doing that and didn't speak English sufficiently well to work in the medical profession in the UK. So that put the locals (who had done the apple picking since time immemorial) out of work, and robbed Romania of a doctor who had trained for years to become qualified. Where is the sense in that?

Two and a half years and no nearer and no wiser.
May has support to go back to the EU to renegotiate the 'back stop' but Tusk has already declared there can be no further negotiation.

Should be ... but there's no way that will be allowed. About eight weeks left and no one has a clue what to do. Proud to be British Rog

Agreed, however the vote in parliament tonight (whilst not binding) identifies that parliament is against a no deal Brexit.
I think they'll extend the deadline to avoid it.

What makes you think that. 48% voted to stay, surely if we are leaving then they would prefer a deal, only needs 3% of the leavers to believe that a deal is the best option and you have a majority.

The voting slip was in or out ... no third choice of with or without a deal.

Rog they may have voted that ..... but they seem to be ignoring the fact that all the other countries have to agree ..... just one says "veto" and "pop"

The vote happened-past tense. We now need to get out, there's already been too much farting about. We won't starve or be unable to leave the country etc.Brexit is going to end up as long running as'Last of the Summer Wine' at this rate.
