I have slept in Pitlochry, twice. Or perhaps three times come to think of it. I mean properly, overnight, not just a nap in the car. explain.

You must feel liberated now, after having written what you just wrote. That's something one is allowed to do on this un-moderated forum. I know of a place where you would have been banned for life, using that sort of language . Peter. I could never be banned for life, I'm on the way to becoming "an institution"

Concerning yourself about gender is so last century! Do you want her to have your baby? Why not ask to see her “bits” and then you would be sure. I'd hate to meet someone attractive who I believed was a girl, but when it came down to it he/she/it was a boy. Apart from anything else, I wouldn't know what to do with a boy, I'd be lost. On that basis alone, it's not totally unreasonable to concern oneself with gender. I'm not attractive................ to you! There are illustrated books available ..............

The Moulin inn does nice grub. Is it in Pitlochry? Yes. Well to be precise, Moulin is a hamlet just up the hill from Pitlochry, about 1/2 mile out of town. Pitlochry is the Blackpool of the Highlands (Well Perthshire, which is nearly the Highlands), full of tourist shops and Central Belt coach loads puking up Irn Bru. Moulin is just far enough off the main road to be nice!

I have slept in Pitlochry, twice. Or perhaps three times come to think of it. I mean properly, overnight, not just a nap in the car. explain. 1. My first hitch-hiking trip to Scotland 1980. 2. With Pirkko, her son and my daughter, driving from Durness via Torridon and Ullapool... went to Edradour distillery, about 2007. 3. Dec 2012 on my way from Perth to Elgin (rental car trip, Volkswagen Passat estate from Heathrow Airport). Stayed at the main hotel half-price as I asked about 9pm. That trip led to me meeting a man who said to come and visit him in South Africa - so we did, and a very nice week it was! Franschhoek, an hour by car east of Cape Town.

Pitlochry is the Blackpool of the Highlands What? The most exciting thing about Pitlochry is the Co-Op. Blackpool isn't exciting. Unless you get turned on by seagulls and discarded chip paper. It is however full of cheap rate coach tourists buying silly things, eating and drinking junk and making a lot of noise, then dropping their litter and puking up on the pavement. That is the similarity to Pitlochry
