I'd hate to meet someone attractive who I believed was a girl, but when it came down to it he/she/it was a boy. Apart from anything else, I wouldn't know what to do with a boy, I'd be lost. On that basis alone, it's not totally unreasonable to concern oneself with gender.

On the whole, you could choose to regard your glass as 2/3rds full rather than 1/3rd empty ...

So if you met a nice boy who turned out to be a girl you'd be all 21st century and just carry on, right?

From what I have gleaned from LadyG's profile and from various snippets in her posts I feel confident that Socks identifies with the female persuasion. Think about it she seemed to think I was stalking her (snigger) if Jo was male it would not have entered his head, if it did he would probably just told me to feck off. Phil

You must feel liberated now, after having written what you just wrote. That's something one is allowed to do on this un-moderated forum. I know of a place where you would have been banned for life, using that sort of language . Peter.
