I have been pleasantly surprised to find that if you put a prolific pain in the arse on ignore, if they change their name, it doesn't matter ... they still stay ignored ..... Bliss

I put someone on ignore on here right back at the beginning and omly the other month took them off, they had of course left years ago!

I often ignore some posts, after a glimpse, but never see the point of the ignore facility.
Even the biggest pain is capable of the odd good or funny post.

Rog That is normally my attitude as well, they have to really irritate me to block. former ones on ignore were nutter and emma now our latest troll has joined them. So far 90% of his/her posts have been rubbish (many then deleted leaving the thread hanging), designed to try and cause arguments. If they ever post anything of value I'm sure it will be quoted and in which case I will see it without having to wade through the crap.

I don't even know how the ignore option works. How do you know someone has said something if you have them on ignore? I wish there was a refined button: Ignore Jim's 'Jokes'

Rog I think so Rog ..... it has a list of things you can block and one of them is start conversations .... so I would guess so ..... I just tick the lot

I camt find his name in the members list under any of the former names.
