I've not had as much practice at adding links as you have.

I've not had as much practice at adding links as you have. All it needed was a space after the word "link" you accidentally joined the word up with the link text.

Just to update on this - WE are currently moored at Hapton in readiness for the opening on 18th... being doubting thomas's, we had a walk to Tesco Burnley and back earlier (11.3 miles return btw) and can confirm it's now BACK in water with the chaps doing a bit of final dredging and the men on the ground said "It'll be open Monday night - possible Tuesday morning at the latest"... I hope so as we're Skipton bound for our next guest.
tbh - it LOOKS finished an as it's full of water with only a bit of plastic tape blocking it, if it didn't , we'd sneak through under cover of darkness anyway lol

We were parked at Hapton for 3 nights 2 years ago. Is that swan still there?

YEah.. the white one is still here... complete with wife/babies pecking away and attacking me through the hatch earlier.... grrr Still, can't help but respect a swans parenting efforts and lack of fear when it comes to protecting their young for the perceived threat of a 16 tonne boat!
