Its still Vulcan for me though, she just looks so right, I love Sabina and have done many miles in her and enjoyed most of them but I have known Vulcan for many years and lusted after owning her, just got to win the bonds or rob a bank I'm taken with Vulcan as well. Although that green colour is disgusting and it would look better in any other colour.

I like the colour scheme of Vulcan.
One feature I really like is the traditional white painted wheelhouse that always looks good on a barge like that as well as obviously being functional.
Its nice to see old, less old and new for comparison reasons.
Really good pictures.

Personal taste is a funny thing Very true. What we don't know is if the colour scheme replicates the original (I suspect it does) as all the pics. of her seem to be relatively recent. Plus of course any originals would be in B&W anyway. www.nationalhistoricships.org.uk/register/1888/vulcan

Whenever I see a front shot of Sabina H I am always impressed that JohnV and co managed to achieve such good lines using 8mm steel* Brilliant bit of work. *if I remember right

Whenever I see a front shot of Sabina H I am always impressed that JohnV and co managed to achieve such good lines using 8mm steel* Brilliant bit of work. *if I remember right I was incredibly fortunate that I had a proper plater to do the work. His name is Joey Jakubait and together with his son Steve and the two welders Terry and Olly I had a great team working on her. Joey is one of those people who are just so damn good at so many things you could spit. If it is to do with boats, he does it and brilliantly. Without him and the team he put together I would never have ended up with such a good boat Joey by mudlarker2, on Flickr img056 by mudlarker2, on Flickr img071 by mudlarker2, on Flickr
