Who really gives a hoot, it's just an amateur snap shot competition?
As we can never know, I prefer my version of events. 👍

Sorry it's under the official secrets act. First names are ok but surnames one always has to use an alias. She might we well be called Miss White. Or Miss Black. Or Brown.
Anyway enough of this nonsense.
You've got me intrigued now I will ask her at the next session.

I don't believe you NEED to ask ... I spotted your name @someboater comes up as M even when I type someboater ... ah ha !
Perhaps not the menial agent ... I may have broken the code @someboater ... or should I say M

Just curiosity for my part ... honest. It seems that when I 'pinned my colours to the mast' inviting everyone to vote, as an indication of active member numbers ... the opposite affect happened and disruptive shenanigans began ... whether to disrupt me or the competition I have no idea. I voted once for the 'coal boats' and never changed. I know Telemachus has described accidentally changing his vote ... but that wouldn't account for the number changes or the huge swing in votes. It doesn't really matter as it's just a bit of fun ... but it's that very pointlessness that makes it more intriguing Rog I honestly believe that apart from genuine single voters moving their votes either sincerely or for devilment there hasn't really been any shenanigans. As for some members trying to control who what and how often others post... laughable. I think in all honesty you're just playing your agenda. No problem with that myself, as I recognise it as something you choose to do.

PS Is Evangeline's surname Moneypenny by any chance @someboater ? Entirely out of left field and off-topic (and possibly of extreme disinterest) – but did you know that all phone calls to ‘Customer Services’ at CaRT go through Moneypenny?

The EA are continuing in mild panic mode, the rivers going up and down like a yo-yo, even during low tide periods.
Better safe than sorry, but it gets not so safe for either boats or banks when these rapid draw-downs and fill-ups are going on day in/day out.
Last EA warning yesterday was alerting us to forecast flooding between 1 & 3 in the morning, which rather spoilt my sleep-pattern; however there was nothing drastic about the water levels at that time of the morning as it eventuated.
I am nearing the end of drying out such boxes of doc.s & etc that were flooded - in the cock-up that led to this precautionarily excessive reaction - as are capable of and worth recovery. The boxes of boat & bike bits, being hardware, I have paid little or no attention to. At least all this physical reality prevents me obsessing totally over the task of preparing new lots of criminal prosecutions and civil cases - I had hoped that would all be behind me with the close of this year, but it is not to be . . .

Just a quick bump to remind anyone who hasn't yet voted that there are two hours left to do so, the poll will lock automatically at 18:00 tonight.
