I don't think anyone got all het up worrying about that in those days they just got it done as and when.
It's not really at all complicated and usually only takes a short time for full evacuation to take place. Depending on diet.

It seems that Mickey Mouse has a nautical origin. The first film he was in "steamboat Willie" Mickey Mouse was called "Mortimer Mouse" before he became known as "Elt on John".

You seem to still be using the text formatting option rather than the capital I option here. EIton John requires no formatting.

To be honest, I'm more 'interested' in the crashed passenger plane and whether or not it was shot down, than the royals story. ' course it was. after launching all those missiles the system was on high alert with a bunch of trigger-happy missileers ready to knock out anything that looked like US retaliation. 1. I have read that the missiles used are fitted with sensors to sniff our commercial airliners' transponders and divert away if it is realised that it is indeed a passenger plane and not a military bomber. 2. Was Iran forced (by the Americans?) to say "Sorry - our cock-up!" when indeed it was nothing of the sort and the Americans themselves blasted that plane out of the sky killing everyone? Just like when they got Libya to find a scapegoat so that sanctions could be lifted off Libya for the Lockerbie bombing (which the Americans seemingly did - yet again).

The plane was hijacked with the intention of flying it to Israel and crashing it into an urban area. It was a Ukrainian plane and I suspect the Russians bombed it just for a laugh, to tease the Ukrainians a bit. As per usual.

my understanding is that there is a fund called the Sovereign Grant which is paid from the public purse, and that Harry's share of that is only 5% of his total income. But his dad Charles sorts him out from his income from the Duchy of Cornwall so 'Arry ain't gonna go short. You get a bit bored with biscuits after eating them for 2 months.

In which case why don’t cruise missiles have commercial transponders to make them safe from defensive missiles??

Weird. It must just be me. Mickey I think you can get away with 'Fat Reg'. He was abused as a child, y'know.

This stuff is less news but increasingly a soap-opera mixed with some low-budget reality show. It would be good if the title of this thread was changed to 'Keeping Up With The Windsors'. I blame boredom. TBH, that's probably one of the reasons I can't keep away from here...and to learn...and to enjoy sharing the banter... Who is British Petroleum Number Three? Does is rhyme with Donkey?

Going back to the people fried in the plane.
The only person who has blood on their hands here is Trump.
He knows perfectly well that Iran is a completely fucked 3rd world country and that by pushing them into a conflict they would make some sort of fuckup.
Over 50 people were trampled to death in the marches to moan about the killing of the general Soleimani who slightly amusingly was replaced by a man called general Salami. Quite ironic for a general in a Muslim country to be named after a pork sausage.
Anyway Trump knew they would fuck something up and they did. Game over.

In fact during Gulf War 1, it was re-named the 'Civil Servant' (true) because it's a waste of space and firing it achieves nothing.
