I think it's always been ridiculous that MEPs that are supposed to represent us can have totally different aims to our current elected government. What a shambles, it could never work well and now we'll have a bunch of clueless Brexit party MEPs thrashing out the details?

They wont its just the house of Lords rumbling its belly because they dont want to leave, and they have no power to stop it! The Government negotiate the deal and then the MEPs vote on it, the way its going I think we will be leaving on WTO rules, because the EU are trying to get one over on Boris, as yet they havent realised he holds the Aces. Havent you been watching the gradual panic? Macron saying its going to be 3 years, the man who is in charge for 6 months saying fishing grounds have to stay EU property? They know we have a big enough Navy to stop the EU fishing where they shouldnt so a whole EU industry will go under if things go wrong. Its more project fear just ignore it and wait for the fun and games to come shortly

Well of course you are correct. The PTB will always be the powers that be, whoever they are. The only thing which matters is whether the PTB enjoy causing unnecessary suffering...or not... So, we donβt want the nasty ones having too much power do we? Especially unelected ones who think arenβt accountable to the masses (who just want a peaceful life with their friends and family). Happy New Decade.
