There are a couple of local boaters who want me to help them fitting solar systems. Both are smallish narrowboats so no more than a couple of 250w panel’s each. Or maybe two 300w panels if we can find a deal. Anyway I’m wondering if anybody has got a recommendation for a cheapish mppt controller which would fit the job?
Regards kris

Have you come across Adam Welch's YouTube channel? www.youtube.com/channel/UCm5sG3-BXQZfVy3st2T_XKg/featuredSome good reviews on here - i've been using an Ecoworthy MPPT for nearly a year, first on a 50w panel and now on a 130w panel - it achieves good results, i think it has been superseded though. Adam is a fan of the Epever Tracer MPPT units. Also handy to give you an idea of what to steer clear of on eBay!

Where is the virtue in being good at the moment? Phew, am I bored! Why not compose and send an obscene e-mail to the President of China?
