OK so I've lapsed and tonight cold uncooked porridge(oats soaked in rice milk all day) with almond yoghurt, Kefir yoghurt drink, strawberries and blueberries.... I have strange tastes yummy bar of salted caramel chocolate for pudding.
Tomorrow I'll make an effort...to-day stuff went wrong again.

That's not particularly strange, I've eaten unsweetened muesli thinned down with the same volume of oats for years, with just water on it. I like porridge made with said mixture too, just with water, maybe a chopped apple or, this time of year and onwards, fresh fruit from the garden.

The fish for tonight was put in the fridge to defrost this morning, unfortunately because it's so bloody cold in the North, it was still frozen this evening.
Tonights menu suddenly became a prawn salad (prawns were meant to be for tomorrow)
Ah well, at least it was washed down by half a bottle of the new 2020 vintage rose wine from Yorkshire ..... excellent and it made up for any short commings in the meal ..... home grown strawberries and icecream for sweet.

As each pack is Β£1-who cares ?

Have you been raiding Stan's again Trina ?! eta - I have always wondered how very many Chinese there must be to forfeit so many of these ribs so readily...

Only in Yorkshire............... Bet it was a small portion as well & the chips were counted out equally... We are both eldest siblings. One cuts, the other chooses. Job sorted. I find it highly offensive to be considered a Yorkshireman btw, as I said, I live on the sunny side of the hill. Though I may well be related to Kim Leadbeater MP. My Grandad's mum was a Leadbeater, from Leeds/ Pontefract way. So there are some Yorkshire genes. We all have a cross to bear.

Didn't think Northerners ate 'Lunch'! aka a light dinner, not a full on dinner with pudding to follow, necessitating a sleep afterwards. I didn't realise we had 2 posh twats on the forum. Oy! Iβm a posh twat! A possibly pretentious posh twat, if weβre splitting hairs.

Well for dinner/tea tonight it is a ready meal Lancashire hotpot, whilst in Yorkshire...
Lots of rain an and wind forecast over the next couple of days so decided to restock the freezer and fridge with 14 days of 'healthy' food. Today's task was to cook and freeze lamb loin and crackling with all the roast trimmings - got the crackling just right!
Crackling is healthy isn't it.....
