Luckily, having spent 30 years eating in UK transport cafés and at lay-by snack wagons I have built up a strong natural immunity to most things, including Coronavirus. I will bet anybody on here any money they care to lose that I will never get it. That is one of life’s guilty pleasures currently denied that I hadn’t thought about - this time of year is when the MCC Exeter LDT would take place, my mate and I would scrutineer at Haynes Sparkfod, kip in the van at the side of the 303 having waved the last competitor off at ungodly time in the early hours of the morning, wake up then to Frome and a superb transport cafe with a big fuel bunker. I can’t for the life of me think what it was called but by heck the food was good! Locally it’s Jacks Hill north of towcester and the Super Sausage south of Potterspury both obviously on the A5. Bugger you - if I snuff it before I get another decent breakfast I’m gonna come and haunt you! 🤪🙈🍻👍

Whoa! Gazza, hope you are only a mild case and not a long one. Keep lucky, Phil Thanks Phil, I’ve a reasonable amount to keep me occupied - not least the dwarf and her homeschooling!

I think around 4 or 5 different carers visit her at different times during the week (including the one who was positive!). I don't think she's been driving trucks and eating in transport cafes for the last 30 years either...

Quick recovery needed !!! now off to sing happy birthday ..... can't be too careful can you What was it Fred Dibnah used to say? - Get it wrong and It will be half a day out with the undertakers! Funny isn’t it, not quite 40 years ago UB40 sang this song but for obviously very different reasons. bit of a tweak of the lyrics and if you believe the worldwide stats that ratio neatly pops up again! What is a major pain in the arse with this all kicking off, I have a YB9L battery for the little Honda VFR - bought and paid for sat waiting at my local motor factors - the location? 3 miles from my work! Might as well be 300 bloody miles away for all the good it is to me there! I was hoping to burst it into life with a view to selling it once the lockdown measures start to ease. I’ve got the time to crack on now but the one thing I need to burst it into life is tantalisingly out of reach! What was it mouse says? Electric legs are for women and vicars 🙈🤪🤦🏼♂️

Nunney Catch 👍🍻👌 But that said, I’m even more determined to haunt you if I never get a breakfast like that again!

Smile sweetly at your local motor factor (the lovely Gill in Norfolk was very obliging) and surely it could be at your door by lunchtime?
Look after each other x

Nice job, Windows(frames and all) look nice and clean too. Sure you will be ok. Ta! 👍🍻 The frames are easy - as @bedruthan pointed out, they are plastic! I know one thing, I absolutely refuse to do anymore gloss work around here, that’s a job for a painter and decorator, time or not! BTW @bfg this stuff is the mutts nuts. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005DRE49S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1over the years I’ve tried all manner of tapes, most of the so say low tack will often fetch a bit of paint off a wall no matter how good the prep, this ain’t cheap but my word is it good. Seems easier to apply than others I’ve used too - I wish I had a quid for every meter of that stuff I’ve stretched out over the years!

Look after each other x They don’t serve my home address - they are long suffering with me; all the oddball weird stuff comes from me so I’ll wait it out. Besides, I had to ring them and tell them we had had cases at work so they are rightly a bit edgy about being around me or work at the moment! I’ll grab it on my first day back - Monday 1st February; how did that happen so quickly!? 🙈

Ah yes I know it, the one on the roundabout. I thought back in the day truckers navigated via GSL - Greasy Spoon Location Here’s another good un for you - the Red Lodge just outside Mildenhall; now sadly closed. The bacon butties were awesome.

Hope you stay well and Mrs Gazza and daughter remain negative.
A quirk of fate that Mrs Gazza should, despite her occupation , be at risk from contact with you.
Younger family who have tested positive have all had minimal symptoms, and I'm sure that will be your experience too.
Take care.
