But, as I have said before, he is /will be working. "Boris Johnson takes ‘full responsibility’ as UK reports 100,000 Covid-19 deaths" Looks like mass murder / genocide is classified as 'working' in your book. shut up

He is not welcome in Scotland at the best of times, that's politics. What 'work' is he doing that cannot be done from 'home' is he, for example, going to dig up the M8? I don't think so, it's not in his job description. Is he going to 'run the country' when we have a First Minister to do all that is necessary in that department. Is he going to have 'meetings', why does he think the internet is used for business these days? Not to mention the cost, his travel costs, his 'advisers', the press, the police. I bet if he had to pay those costs out of his salary he'd be in debt last year, this year, and next year. Just for a few days of time wasting. His 'presence', as his office put it, is unwelcome, now, more than ever. And the first minister is such a good role model isn't she...when she remembers to wear her mask! I hope the Scots who want to break away from us as per Ma Broon's wishes, will no longer expect us to bankroll them & will not be surprised when we stop the cash ! Weeeeeeee Jimmy Cranky, is all I think when I see her on tv.

I actually think the reason Boris is going to see the witch is so that he can say to her privately "shut your gob you trouble causing cow and get back in your kettle"... without the risk of it being recorded over zoom/teams or whatever and the press making a big deal of it... she's running scared of a telling off by trying to shame him into not going using "covid" as an excuse.

Get over it he is the PM of the UK Scotland is a small part of the UK, so if the PM of the UK has work to do in Scotland he can go there, just like Scottish MPs go to Westminster after all that is the Parliament that runs the UK that Scotland forms a small part of

A more accurate take on it, Boris took full responsibility for what he had done. He left out all the bits he didn't do but should have done. Hence topping 100k covid deaths.

"Boris Johnson's links to Russia have come under the spotlight since his decision to block the publication of a report into Russian election interference." "Johnson had blocked the report's publication due to fears that it would reveal links between major Conservative donors and the Russian secret service." "Last week the Electoral Commission revealed that the single largest donation during this campaign was from the wife of a former Russian minister and ally of Putin." www.businessinsider.com/boris-johnson-photographed-with-russian-spy-who-called-him-friend-2019-11?r=US&IR=TNow now, don't be upsetting our elderly blue rinse express readers. Heard a fascinating programme on the new editor, Labour through and through, a remainer too. Whatever next, nipples on page 3? Just another excuse to wheel this one out, looks like it was recorded at Band On The Wall, Manchester.

I thought you would be pleased to see the Gov welcome people who are trying to escape from the powers of the PRC - maybe not if they are foreign looking...

"It shows Nino Romano, 21, questioned on his plans, before he is called an idiot and threatened with "locking up". West Midlands Police said the officer's actions were "unacceptable" and there was no suspicion of any offence. Mr Romano accused him of being "power-hungry". " Yes, I happened to spot that this morning - 50% of people will say the Police'person' (wears a bra and knickers under his uniform, who can say these days?) behaved wrongly, 50% will call the man who questions the Police rights to question him having committed no visible or apparent offence a 'Covidiot'. You decide. You will notice the BBC does not name the 'over-zealous officer' - the Daily Mail DOES! PC Joseph Naylor. You have edited your post before I got around to replying. Never mind - your words will be remembered forever...

Another BBC pointless report . WHY would anyone not give their name to the police? - I would have no reason to not do so... goodness me everyone has gone crazy.

Would you like the Police/State to install CCTV cameras in every room in your boat? Why not, if you have "nothing to hide"?

Maybe because they don't have to without the police giving a reason other than 'your an idiot' - I'd object to that otherwise I might need to tattoo my name to my forehead.
Thankfully the powers that be have decided that the policeman didn't act responsibly. Policing by consent wins.

That is the trouble today though - I know there is the occasional employee in ANY organization - be it police, doctors surgery, council office, crt or whatever that thinks they have "power" and behaves like a twat with it but I maintain, if a policeman asks you your name, there is no reason not to give it - whether you HAVE to or not... it USED to be called respect for their occupation.
This same kid would be quick enough to GIVE them his name if he was phoning for help cause he'd been jumped on by a gang of thugs or whatever... works both ways.
