So how will that help you? They will still be carrying the virus. Forever. And ever.is that the result of your "research"?

is that the result of your "research"?
Now, how did you do your research throughout your life? Did you read books? How did you know what was in those books was true? Did you try to find out whether the publishers and authors were 'genuine'? Where are you doing your 'research' now - from the BBC / UK Gov websites? The government who awards contracts worth billions to the likes of 'Baroness' Harding? I read a lot, and deduce things based on that and not being blue-eyed by my own, personal experiences throughout life. Oddly, I usually manage to 'do alright'. I mean, for example, our boat hasn't sunk in a lock. Stay at home, watch TV, be afraid, die. Live the dream, avoid Covid-19.The really bizarre thing is how you conclude that since you can drive a bus, your car didn't break down lately etc leads you to conclude you are therefore an indisputable expert on just about any subject which flits across your mind. Amazing.

No - that's Patty's outlook. She said so herself. no she didn't ........... read it again and demonstrate where your alleged time line comes in.
perhaps you should attend a "Use of English" course so that you do not perpetuate inaccuracies in your comprehension ............. oh, sorry, you read the Drooling Fool newspaper and do not understand how the sensationalist press milks you of your money without any responsibility for the muck-spreading that involves ........... perhaps you should go work on a farm and spend a day or two spreading slurry - it might cure you of your lazy "research" efforts.

They're on target to achieve vaccination of the top four 'most at risk' tiers by 15th of this month ... these groups represent 88% of all deaths. February to end of April the target is all over 60's vaccinated ... representing 99% of all deaths. That will leave 21 million adults between 18 and 50 to be jabbed, which they expect to complete by September. The 'road map' to lifting restrictions is to be announced 22nd of this month. The average age of death is 82.4 (O.N.S.) This is all good, positive news in my opinion ... coupled with decreasing hospital occupancy, and improving treatments. Now more than at any time in the past year, we have reasons to be very hopeful ... and that's my focus Rog ETA My 19 yr old niece has just been called for her vaccination ... she will be able to return to work before month end ... yeay ! Oi! What about people between 50 and 60 yrs old!
Feeling left out.... Doh! Sorry, my mistake now corrected ... all over 50's by end of April (not over 60's as originally posted). Rog

I will just be avoiding people as I have done for years, unlike some there is no need for me to socialise with strangers. I hate going into shops much preferring to shop on line saves having to deal with idiots. The only change from lockdown will be that I can go boating and luckily not on cart's ditches so there are fewer idiots around to spoil my day. You do seem to consider lots of us are idiots ... maybe avoiding us is better for all parties. Rog

no she didn't ........... read it again and demonstrate where your alleged time line comes in. Patty: "Thing is even post vaccine folk have to be careful as they can carry virus" Foxy: "They will still be carrying the virus." OK, I used the word 'will' instead of 'can' ... but, as you well know, that's used in a rhetoric way. How does Patty 'know' they 'can carry virus'? You are just arguing for the sake of argument, but I suppose tapping on a keyboard is safer than arguing in a pub as every time you open your cakehole you 'can' or 'will' be 'spreading virus'. Oh, go on, tell us about the time you got shot. Again. Or... I prefer the one about you 'borrowing' tools from your employer and 'not got round' to returning them yet. Nothing quite like being lectured to by a thief! you really are full of shit. the main point of your comment was that people could carry the virus FOR EVER.
Patty never said that and AFAIK she never implied it.
as I said you need to learn about language, comprehension and the use of English.
go back to kindergarten.

Remember that 50% of the population are below average intelligence so there there is a fair chance when out and about you will meet some. I just try to limit the chances of it happening. I am not yet a fully fledged misanthrope.

You do seem to consider lots of us are idiots ... maybe avoiding us is better for all parties. Well, let's face it, it's not going to be much of a party with Johnny Walker Black Label, is it? I'll certainly let you know ... on the positive side you won't be there to try it Rugby highlights at 7pm ... feet up and a glass or two sounds pretty good to me. Rog

Oh dear.. The Fox has misread my comments.... No great surprise really..I must try to be clearer so there is no ambiguity ... I feel some people will ignore the guidelines with regards mixing as soon as they have had vaccine..I know of one who will definitely visit all her friends..she will not be welcome to come here as I see her as a risk.
Initially until many of the population vaccinated I will carry on being careful with regards mixing etc...the only few I want to see are my old friends It is only wise ..we do not know whether we can carry a virus that will not affect us. I want the NHS to recover and for all those treatments 'on hold' be restarted

In order to protect others I will be assuming, unless it is proved otherwise, that I can catch, carry and infect others with the virus after I have been vaccinated. What is the point of having the vaccine then?
