That looks an exciting piece of thingymejiggery to do whatever.... All it does is form metal, like bend, punch etc. but very handy bit of old school kit. Sooo beside that i needed a new bench drill a si swapped my old one for a guitar i cant bloody play haha. so sold that. I bid on one on ebay and won that whilst same time i got offered one from work for free so ended up with two a si won the ebey one. This was the ebay purchase, a Clarke but in good nick as hardly used and ebay So in all for £80 i did good Oh yes, now th ehly press isnt easy to move and i needed something besdie me n T to move it so i got this aswell on way home from the 250 mile round trip. I didint want cheap chinese rubbish to decided on a slight used SDS engine lift. Infact not juts for the flypress but aslo for moving enigne about and the lathe and mill i hoe to get sometime A 2 ton beast Now you mite be asking where is all this going to live ? Good man! Not often you see a Wine Glass next to a drill press

There's a beer glass there too.
Seems a bit hazardous to have glass items in such a nicely random workshop.

The beer glass is on the workbench, mostly out of harms way; I mean, imagine if some swarf got in your plonk. Besides that it would be a disaster if the glass got knocked over thus allowing the contents to leak out.

It would be a shocking waste. However I think the wine glass may be used for a more engineering-based purpose maybe as a receptacle for small parts? faffer will know.

You dont miss much chaps ha ha the wine glass was from a bag of stuff we brought back from Khashoggi when we sold it, oh and its a workshop glass as its plastic lo . The workshop is like a bomb site at the minute. Infact nothing is in use really. And me drinking on the job lol. I dont work long enough to. Now the delay on the boat build is this. I buitl a cony about 10 years ago and roof failed so i used it as a temp workshop. Now plan was to redo it as T wanted it back as it was nice to chill out in. Now T ha said i can have it all So here it is as in floor plan etc Its a garden renovation aswell as the workshop now, got these roof sheets last year and just got around to getting them on. Got them at a bargain price of £300 as each panel is usually arounf £160 each and got six. Pease excuse the new wall i wanted to extend the workshop by. I have done better but couldnt be bothered and not in the mood so no lines used but a naff spirate level. Got the frame work done a then a good mate come over to help me get the roofing in place the other day. so its getting there now Now as you can see the roofing sheets drop short to the back corner, i have though a load of galv sheets for the rest and i think they will lap over nicely. These will go over the 6.6m back roof in the plan. . I was going to make a GRP section from an original roof sheet but never got to do it. Got some log cladding arriving tomoz so i can crack on with that. to get it more secure as all my gear is in there all covered etc but getting wet through as the rough is that bad. Well thats the hold up on the Fury rebuild. Atleast ill have a good area to rebuild the engine or what ever i decide to do wkith them.

Happy birthday, you daft old sod... ... and love to T. Didn't you do well in finding her?! Keep on keeping on x I think i did, she is the best, lucky is the least i can say i am. Have to say,I reckon Tracey is the real star here !👍🏼 I agree completely. After four tip runs with and a hour or so the cladding is now on. And happy with the results. One thing though, well another thing is how folk just dont listen when you ask and give wrong info. I ordered a length of 4x2 rough sawn and specificaly said not the C24 as its to small. What did they send bloody C24. I also asked what coverage is the loglap cladding. 100mm, well its 85mm. So that made me short of it to finish the job now. Same as when i ordered four bulk bags of the 40mm slate for the garden, they had no 20mm in so i said that will do. They said its the same cost and amount as in coverage etc. Got the bill an dit was near £20 a bag dearer. Is it me as this happens a lot nowadays. folk dont seem to kno what the hell thye are doing. Anyway moaning over as luvin it now. I am off working tomoz for a few hours and collecting another bit of gear for the workshop so this will be as is for next few days. Next will be the new roof at the back of the house. Then concrete the floor that is a little low at the back and then rewire it all. And well plenty more.
