Ohhhh
Just thought of a couple more...
a lump hammer (we are on our 3rd one now - don't ask how) a set of Goat chains - brilliant for mooring up on armcor & never need to worry about loose pins! vice grips (or whatever it is that you English call it) used for changing the gas bottle

When we got married we asked for money and other suitable items that we kept a record of then spent a day in Manchester handing out everything out to the homeless that we met. It was awesome to share the love and the wedding guests who contributed appreciated the email I sent with the update. To be honest we will do it again, we made friends that day that we wouldn't have met otherwise. Wot !!! Get Married again ....... are You totally nuts !!! Ooops lol maybe not get married again, though it was a fun relaxed wedding so as long as I could marry the same guy again I could be tempted. I think I will just stick to no birthday or Christmas presents though 😋

If anyone dares give me anything related to Jim & Rosie there will be a burning at the stake - hanging is too quick.

a lump hammer (we are on our 3rd one now - don't ask how ) - I have 3 and I'm sure I'll find the other ones as well.a set of Goat chains - brilliant for mooring up on armcor & never need to worry about loose pins! - the 3 goats have gone, primarily because about the only thing they didn't eat was their chains but they still escaped - might need to go on a course to learn how to chain boats to armcorvice grips (or whatever it is that you English call it) used for changing the gas bottle - bloomin heck have you not learn't that there is the right tool for the right job yet.

How about a pair of Fiskars (Made in Finland) scissors? If you open them a bit you can poke someone in both eyes at the same time! Brilliant!

We got our first sailing boat thirty odd years ago and for Christmas that year were given four nutcrackers in the shape of ship's wheels, a very large clock in the shape of a ship's wheel, two mugs with naff sayings printed on, two hats...Skipper and galley slave, and a set of plastic wine glasses with ship's wheels 'engraved' on them.
On the day after boxing day I went to the local charity shop and set up their new 'Nautical Section'.

Hi foxy, I do like all the beautiful photos you posted, but there must be something very wrong with you somewhere (nobody is perfect of course) as you seem to like equipment for their possible use of poking people in the eyes with, not nice !

Look like this, Bettie:
anti-vandal key.jpg
I would say you do need them on the K&A - for poking aggressive hippies in the eye
I think that the best thing to do is to keep a safe distance from you, better safe than sorry.
Peter.

VICAR: What-ho. ah, I-I'm the vicar. VYVYAN: Well you'd better be, or else you'd look a might girlie in that dress. VICAR: [pokes Vyv in the eye]
(I think I got it from watching The Young Ones)

VICAR: [pokes Vyv in the eye] (I think I got it from watching The Young Ones) Hi naughtyfox, I feel a little bit better now, but as I'd never seen or even heard of that "The Young Ones", I didn't hear any bells ringing.
The only thing I remember of a completely different "The Young Ones" is of the early '60s of a Cliff Richard song and movie, both very peaceful.
I hope that I'll meet you at some stage in person, if that happens, just to make me feel a bit safer, please show me your hands from a couple of meters distance, so I can see that your not holding a K & A Anti-vandal key, or a pair of Fiskars, and everything will be fine.
Myself I will be unarmed as usual.
Peter.

You mean you missed Rick, Vivian, Neil and Mike? One of the best TV series ever. I wonder if it's available on DVD. Brought my kids up on too, I had put some episodes to VHS.
"More bloody students." "Oh shut up and put some clothes on!"
