The forecast is good and it's suggested that the weekend will be bedlam on the canals as everyone with access to a boat will be out cruising.
I've been quite surprised so far, how little boat traffic we've seen (since mid April) as we've travelled from Warwick, but accept we've not reached any real hotspots yet, like the Four Counties ring.
So what do you think where you are ... busy or just routine ?
Are the marinas going to disgorge their contents onto unsuspecting canals ?
I'm not convinced bank holidays are really busy like they used to be ... apart from on the roads of course.

I'll be hanging around the Whaley Bridge/Marple area, awaiting 2nd jab appointment date plus awaiting for the 14th (tunnel booking, 1st sensible date available after the jab). I'm hoping Whaley Bridge has plenty of entertainment on offer...

Staying put at Ansty this weekend, need to finish putting new trim up Sunday morning then over to the rose and crown in the afternoon to sit in the sun for a few hours drinking beer.
Monday will be a bbq back at home.
Well looking forward to sitting outside without a coat on enjoying life.

Saturday Afternoon over to Peterborough to the boat, not much on but kick back and relax. Sunday run out on the river - not sure which way or where to you, vague idea to blat to the Dog in a Doublet but that may change for reasons beyond my control. we shall see

No boating this weekend, it will be spent dodging the grockles, not even going shopping as the shops will be full of them.

somewhere got a picture of a window sticker seen in Kernow, "If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?"
(CBA to dig it out)
