I need to replace mine between the regulator and where it joins the fixed pipe system within the gas locker. Currently both joints look like flex pipe just pushed onto fixings and held in place by jubilee clips.
Is it acceptable practise to replace like for like or should I be considering something else?

Do it yourself and you will probably die horribly in a massive flame which kills you very badly and often several times.
If you get a gas safe or "the queen's favourite dog" man to do it then you will still die but later on and it won't necessarily be horribly nasty involving fire. Due to the random nature of the world its not impossible that you could be burned to death horribly in enormous amounts of pain even if you do get it done properly.
Double stainless pipe clamps on both ends.

Yes, . . it is acceptable to replace like for like, provided that the flexible pipe you're replacing complied with current BSS standards, . . and no, there's obviously no point in replacing anything that does the job and complies with mandatory standards with something different that may not.

Tony will come and do it for you, if you leave it on your back deck for theee weeks first.

Decided to try to get someone to do it for me, might just be that I didn't tighten the new bottle properly as access was difficult due to the 'leaking lock gate flood protection contraption' I had installed... But the pipe is showing signs of wear and I'd rather not be blown to bits.
Long walk to Sainsburys to pick up some microwavable ready meals today to tide me over... At least the sun is shining.

Where are you now? - I can't think of many Sainsbury's up there... I know there's one at cherry tree but that's blackburn (well just after)

Just by Reedley Marina now (Sainsburys was in Colne, a reasonable walk from Barrowford). Popping into Reedley for diesel shortly. Will ask there about the hose etc but if nothing doing plan is to contact the boatyard at the top of Johnson's Hillock.

Bit late now, unless you have transport, Puffer Parts near the canal at Riddlesden Keighley.

I'm sure I remember them starting ..... and if it's the firm I remember, they used to deal in second hand parts then as well.
and if I am right that must be at least 30 years ago

I've been a few times, including when passing on the cut, I heard the original owners sold up, however I Googled it yesterday and seems to be there still. No website showed up.
