Bugger Covid!
attended two fireworks displays this weekend - one at MNCC which was OK, and an epic display in our village tonight
anyone else been to a pet scaring party dedicated to Guido Fawkes and his pals?

Too many fireworks round here... not that the wolf was bothered but in the end I just thought it was OTT.... Goodness knows how much went up in smoke and sparkly lights

Verrrry quiet in Ellesmere.Fireworks yesterday & today for a few mins around 6pm.Very different to Bearwood where we'd have had fireworks for Nov 5th & Diwali for ages before the dates & ages after !

There was a display by us,so we walked over. To their credit it was very good.
And packed, but outdoors

Watched the local one from a pub, much better.
It has been quite this year compared to other years, maybe people are being less selfish and understand one or two nights is enough.

Must admit Friday was ridiculous.. the skies exploded, Saturday there was a few and Sunday considerably less.. one hopes thats it for this year..though I believe the annual one on the beach is something like the 12th or 14th cos apparently the tide will be right
