Thank goodness our house is heated by burning birch logs (with some mountain ash and plane thrown in) and we're not dependent on natural gas. Now, if only Margaret Thatcher hadn't pissed off all the miners, and kept the UK's coal mines open. "A steep rise in energy prices appears to have triggered protests across Kazakhstan that resulted in mass arrests, the dismissal of the government, and the declaration of a state of emergency." Ah yes Katie Hopkins......another one evicted from the penal colonies for her covid anticsπ

Ah yes Katie Hopkins......another one evicted from the penal colonies for her covid anticsπ I'm not sure that all Australians are too happy with the way they are being kept in permanent lockdowns and not allowed to leave their country - nor return to it without having to suffer 2 weeks in some 'quarantine camp'. Dont know about that Foxy, I'm starting to think the free and easy ozzies of old that would stand up to the authorities and bullies at the first hint of unfairness in the belief that everyone deserves a 'fair go' have died out. It all smacks of 1984, I fear the worst once the hermit kingdom of Western Australia opens the gates to the durty furriners and Eastern staters, especially when you look at the draconian rules being enacted in the NT.

I haven't heard any more about the Aborigines who were carted off to Howard Springs 'Centre for National Resilience'. There was a big fuss about that a few weeks ago. Now nothing. They have been assimilated into the system and are now good machines - more likely old news so no follow up and new more interesting stories to push
