You could be right Gazza, a mate of mine had a fire on his diesel heater and it nearly took out the wooden boat along with him, his missus and his Bro in law. Flames were coming out of all the vents, to this day he cannot say how he put it out as they were moored on the no road access side of the river. I only knew about it when I woke up to let my dogs out and could smell the smoke. I dinghyed round to offer what assistance I could but it was all out by then. Made me seriously think about my Mikuni and PROPEX setup, went for a Glembring diesel heater in the end.
