I think they are trying to balance the provision of facilities for cruisers and continuous moorers. I think they may be looking at ways to try and get local authorities to provide more facilities in their areas where there is a lot of unofficial residentials.

I think they are looking at providing a bulk standard service (rubbish disposal), then looking to charge for water and sewage etc.

Charging is what it’s all about. That and removal of “substandard,” facilities that then never get replaced. This has happened already in a few places.

How would you define 'unofficial residentials', . . and more importantly, . . how do you think the local authorities and any navigation authority can or would attempt to define them, . . lawfully, and under an enforceable set of waterway and/or local byelaws ?

Maybe the ones living in vans without boats, who insist on using boaters facilities? It’s a long time Tony since you where out on the water, things change.

I really have no issue for paying for any services. I genuinely believe continuous cruisers could and should pay more for what we use. It's really not fair that those who are marina based pay the same and use so much less.
All I ask, as someone who does live on a boat and does move, is that we DO have that provision.

Who have you 'asked' about this, . . and have you raised the concerns you have, including the builders and garden waste, with anyone at C&RT, . . and if so, . . what was the response ?

The builders' rubbish and garden waste in CRT skips is beyond a joke now ... Don't be so mean. Lovely pikeys. Protected species. Misunderstood, that's all. They're just saving money because they get charged at the Household Waste sites. And if you don't want to understand or respect their 'culture' then you will be accused of being 'racist'.

Organisations like CRT can be tools for unscrupulous behaviour. Transparency is vital, knowing what cash gets to the end, slimming down the hefty running costs and salaries that are really not necessary. It's imperative, and must be clear and easy to access all of CRTs Income and outgoing. At the moment we do not get this from them.

Where are the transparent accounts from the Association of Continuous Cruisers? where they belong, with it's members, and obviously not anywhere you could steal them from. Given the fact you have been caught stealing and lying, (and I have not) your posts have become pretty much worthless.
