Lots of people jetting off to conferences on 'Climate Change' as seen here on this snapshot of air traffic over Europe taken 10 minutes ago. Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, is one such. With his entourage of bodyguards. "Sadiq Khan came under fire last night after it emerged he will fly 14,000 miles this week to address a climate change summit in South America. The meeting is designed to bring together mayors and business leaders from across the world to ‘demonstrate what a strong global coalition united on radical climate action can achieve’. But the summit touts itself as a ‘hybrid in-person and virtual event’, prompting climate campaigners to question Khan’s need to fly there with a six-strong entourage." Yes, you'd think Sadiq would do it by 'Zoom meeting'. But 'Carbon footprints' and 'Net Zero' are all meaningless when it comes to flights and freebie jollies that other people pay for. Or perhaps he really feels very guilty, but just 'has' to take part in this 'essential journey' for the benefit of Mankind. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11319955/Sadiq-Khan-comes-fire-14-000-mile-flight-attend-climate-change-summit-South-America.html Looks like very few actually care about 'Climate Change' in reality.

Europe's biggest free airshow has been axed by local councillors who claim the event - which features the Red Arrows - will prevent it hitting its carbon zero target. Councillor Graeme Miller of Sunderland City Council announced the suspension. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11367459/Sunderland-Airshow-axed-amid-global-climate-emergency.htmlMeanwhile.... "Sadiq Khan under fire for 14,000-mile flight to join climate change summit. The Mayor will travel to Buenos Aires to attend the C40 World Mayors summit."

I like how all the Just Stop Oil protesters are all wearing Hi-Viz jackets made from oil. Looks like this one has been taking a bit too much Mogadon.

"Cop27: Bristol areas that 'will be underwater' by 2050 research showing which parts of Bristol could be permanently under water in less than 30 years. Experts at Climate Central developed an interactive map earlier this year, which uses current projections to show which areas could be lost to rising sea levels by 2050. Major supermarkets including Clevedon's Tesco and both Sainsbury's and Morrisons in Weston, would be in areas shaded red" Blimey. Snorkle-diving for your groceries in Tesco & Sainsbury's. It is serious, then. www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/cop27-bristol-areas-will-underwater-7786313Perhaps someone should alert the TUBbies.... John likes to believe what the 'experts' say. Like when they said half of India would be dead unless they got the 'Covid vaccines'. Surely this time they can't be wrong about Bristol being underwater shortly? Badger will be alright, he's got a boat.

" Sir Bob forms Band/Live Aid to help fight famine in Ethiopia - a country that cannot sustain its population of 40 million. 30 years later aid is still given to support the country but the population is now 100 million. A British journalist in a war/famine/drought torn African country asked a group of mothers surrounded by umpteen children "Do you think it's a good idea to have children while the men are fighting a war and there is little food and water?" They answered her "It is Allah's will." "
"Did any money from Band Aid make it to Ethiopia?"

Band Aid was nothing to do with a country with a load of starving people. It was a way for a small group of pointless "pop stars" to make shed loads of money.
Mind you I definitely would not want to swap places with the awful Geldof. I mean he probably has more money than a whole village would ever need but he has had some seriously bad shit in his family life. You don't want that.
