Yes to the mooring agreement.
All the plant pots and pretent gardens have to go.
Complaints from the 'blue rinse brigade'......
eta. bye bye free rhubarb from a neighbour's 'allotment'.

Just got an email from CRT (sent to all mooring holders on these moorings) - essentially the email says get your crap off our land (towpath) or we won't offer to renew your mooring. Did make me smile a bit - there will be some outraged moorers...!
Even the fake grass has to go...
If I am thinking of the same site there wre some very established gardens there. CRT flexing its land ownership muscles? About time really. Could get interesting in some areas. You are probably thinking of Cowley moorings, I think some of that is allowed. If not it will get 'interesting'.

Yes Cowley offside with the big gardens. Was not sure if you had one of those.
Interesting place some of the gardens are well over 12 yars old.

Ricky?
No I know where you mean.
For some reason I thought you had moved to an offside mooring.

Can't afford an off side mooring, plus happy to be out in the 'posh countryside'.
My earliest memory of this place was as a young teenager, falling apart boats, rabid hounds, miserable boaters, post boxes that the postman actually delivered to if he hadn't been bitten by a dog or boater!
All quite gentrified now.

You will remember the pipe bridge then. Don't know what it was carrying but I seem to recall it having 8 inch pipes or something. Maybe a water supply.

Don't remember it, but it could have provided an additional water supply to either Sandersons or the old mill works, both now gone.

Photo is from 2002.
Factory water supply makes sense.
Actually quite a nice structure I suppose it was taken down because of problems with the youth.
