Anyway there's been a lot of talk about how sausages are bad lately. But today I have passed the first solid poo for about four weeks, having suffered chronic LGEBS (loosey goosey exploding bottom syndrome) in the intervening time. And since it seems to come in waves I cannot be sure that it's all over but I'm praying that it is so.
I know this is a rather unpleasant subject but I choose to report it because the culprit was an egg. I know it was the egg because I started feeling unwell about 30 minutes after eating it. And having burps that taste like farts is not nice. Nor is a mental image of Edwina Currie saying 'I told you so' every time one visited the loo. Incidentally I met her once on the tube.
I threw the remaining eggs away. I will never, and I mean never, eat another egg as long as I live. It's just not worth the risk. And frankly mayonnaise is on the suspect list too. It's like Russian roulette. Don't eat the eggs! Or you'll be running for your life. Literally.

Curried egg ok?
Oddly I am having a couple of tesco scotch eggs right now as always like a high class snack.
Cooked seems alright.
I've never met the Salmon called Ella fortunately.
I think people only become interested in this sort of thing if you are vomiting and shitting all over the walls.

The egg in question was not raw and was cooked as cooked can be.
There was no vomiting but I did heave once or twice and at one point had cold sweats.

Also pepsis is the opposite of sepsis.
'He who forgets the past is doomed to repeat it; thus so any discussion of sepsis must begin with a historical perspective on the condition. It was the Egyptians some 4,000 years ago who put forth our first written history of a sepsis-like phenomenon, postulating that a dangerous substance known as “ukhedu” lived in all of our guts and could, if not kept in check, migrate through our blood vessels and even stop our hearts [2]. To stave off this deadly disease, the Egyptians set aside three days each month to give themselves purges and enemas. The Greeks took up the Egyptian concept of ukhedu and generalized it into “sepsis,” which referred to putrefaction and was closely associated with things smelling bad (rotting meat, the contents of the colon). Sepsis was in tight balance with a complementary concept, “pepsis,” which was associated with things smelling good (a delicious pot roast, an aromatic lemon verbena soap).'

My doctor told me I have a fatty liver so I got some beer to help deal with the anxiety.
Fortunately the upcoming move on the country estate takes me closer to the 'death club' where everyone accidentally drowns in the River so there is some hope.
It goes back to anglo saxon times and probably into prehistory. The dinosaurs were there.
I quite like having such a direct connection with mortality.
Once the weirs go up its going to be wicked.
Better to drown in the River gasping for air than for a massively fucked beech tree destroying the boat. I know my prior itties.

Chap on the morning news was talking about “reputation protection” for the organisation and themselves as the key driver for management sweeping it under the carpet. Seems a recurring concept for idiot managers who have only ever been in administration/management, never on the shop floor. incredibly short sighted. But of course these idiots won’t be held financially accountable for their cover ups. Should be a corporate manslaughter charge for these bosses to answer to! Looks like its all coming home to roost for those managers! 👍 news.sky.com/story/lucy-letby-baby-murders-police-launch-corporate-manslaughter-investigation-12976571
